It was an amazing day at The Masters yesterday. We were loving life as Bobby Schaeffer, Billy McKinney, Tony Jacklin and I enjoyed member seating “inside the ropes.” Tony Jacklin talked about “The Concession” and how classy Jack Nicklaus was. I also met Angel Cabrera (Argentina).
Tiger was out being very fan friendly for a change. He looked great -- very comfortable. Arnold Palmer was also walking around shaking hands and talking to people. It’s no wonder that badge prices have skyrocketed!
An interesting side-note -- when playing Augusta late last year, my caddie was Benji Thompson, who happens to also be Ben Martin’s (United States) caddie. Ben is blogging as well. You can follow him on The Masters iPhone app.
We had our first reception at West Lake Country Club last night. Our speakers were Tony Jacklin and Rick Dees (yes, from the “Weekly Top 40”). We had about 140 people. We had a great time, and everyone received their personalized “Masters Chair” (see our website for the story of “The Masters Chair”).
After the reception, we went out to the Country Club and danced until 2:30 a.m., followed by a trip to the Waffle House.
A note from J2 (Jennifer Paschal & Jennifer Morland):
“Matt returned to his hillbilly Oklahoma roots last night! He was riding mechanical bulls, playing air guitar, and rounded out the night by giving the cook a lesson at the Waffle House. Pure entertainment!

Hilarious! Sounds like fun! I know it's a lot of hard work too. Hang in there and don't cheer for Tiger. :)
