This could be one of the greatest Masters ever, with Watson, Couples, Mickelson and Tiger!
Tiger’s second shot and birdie on number 9 yesterday was one of the best shots in golf that we have ever seen. Considering the crowds around Tiger, it was even more impressive that he was able to play at that level. He should have been 8 under par.
Fred Couples also played flawlessly. I’m pulling for a final of Watson, Couples, Mickelson and Tiger.
It was fun to see Henderson Golf chairs all over the golf course.
Yesterday the winds came in and it was unreal. Augusta was literally surrounded in bad weather, but it was almost surreal how perfect the weather was during yesterday’s tournament. When the tournament was not occurring, we had just enough rain to wash away the pollen. However, due to the bad weather affecting flights in Atlanta, Kelly (my son) was delayed and did not arrive until 3:30 a.m. this morning! Then it was up for breakfast with Ron, Tim, Steve, Butch, George Sr. and George Jr. We’re looking forward to another amazing day.
